Default Fuel Choices

Sorry if this has been discussed before but last weekend I had no choice but to use an ESSO station which I haven't done before because I have always used shell.
Stuck in the ESSO synergy supreme + on virtually an empty tank and I got to say the car felt amazing, possibly better than it feels running on shell nitro.
Don't know if anyone else has tried this fuel and had the same results.

I use this regularly and don't notice any difference between this and any other premium fuel.
Bar the clubcard points of course

It very unlikely you would notice any instant different in fuels with such close RON rating. The ECU wouldn't pick it up straight away, and it would be a few bhp at best, less than the difference in putting the air con on. Normally it's placebo or weather.

No Ron it's 97. I thought it might be 99 as Esso are bed mates with Tesco, but theirs is supplied by Greenergy and is 5% bio-ethanol.

Just double checked my local Esso that I sometimes have to use supply this, I can't say that it seems any better or worse than BP/Tesco.
