Default Fuel filter

I know once in the cars lifetime it has had the fuel filter changed, but IIRC that would of been around 60k, my car has done 120k now and runs sweet as a nut. I would do it myself as i have a idea how you'd do it.

But, is it worth changing it?

IIRC cant the cansister get rust in etc and the filter get slighter dirty, or do i wait until signs of it need replacing???.

I can do it myself just wondering if its worth it?. Seems a pain in the arse getting to it, roof down and remove plastic panels on shelf? I presume it would take about 2 hours.

Also, do i need to replace the existing gasket?

Cheers

Nice one thanks Steve.

Would 2 hours be enough time to change it?

Changed mine last year at 68k , and its not too bad of a job TBH, although a bit fidgety. The old filter had a slight orange tinge to it, but nothing major.

Just be very careful when you detach it from the fuel meter, as its a bit fragile.
