Default Fuel level indicator.

I've been driving about with low level light on and no bars showing for a couple of days, finally fear got me and I stuck 20L in, the gauge now shows 1/2 full, a hell of a lot more than I expected. These gauges are really as usefully as customer services.?

Yeah its rubbish, its just a float connected to an arm that makes a connection on series of exposed copper segments - which corresponds to how full the tank is.

I find mine just fine, but coming from a load of old volvo beaters where the fuel gauges never worked anyway, i suppose this makes the S2000 gauge look very accurate!

The last three bars do some kind of clever prediction based on the time you have left and the current mpg. Which sounds like typical Honda over engineering. Which is is why you can stop with two bars on, then when you restart the car it's on zero.

I find the trip counter is much more accurate. I regularly do the same 100 mile trip, and 3 trips is 300 miles and 45 litres. The light will be on for the last 30 miles or so, but I know I can safely ignore it.
