"Merseyside Police have asked people not to ring 999 to ask where to buy fuel after phone lines became strained."

I was in France for a week for the last one. Threatened with not being able to fly back.
Pity it was solved by the end of the week.

Panic queues in both Birmingham and Stoke this evening.

I just went to Snozzberrys for sum kitty choc and there was a queue of about 50 cars.

The world has gone mad.

Again

Wish we were more like the French (in some ways only, I don't mean not washing, eating heaps of garlic and pissing in a hole in the floor)... when they get arsed off with things they get all their tractors out... block the roads and they don't budge till they get what they want... we're too apathetic (no, not us petrolheads but your next door neighbour who reads the Daily Mail, you know the one who wears taupe M&S troos)... they'll agree that everything is wrong and yet they won't do anything about it... you know "it's for our own good" and "you don't want to make a fuss" blox.. fu*k it -lets have some anarchy... I hope the petrol runs out & I can't go to work for a bit...I will stay at home & grow tomatoes and play with the cats all day.

Now that it has been on the news, should be a full on panic by Wednesday

I don't really need a car this week, apart from tomorrow, but next week could be a real pain without one

Fingers crossed we'll all be hoarding something else by then
