Yesterday morning the plan was to meet cat and RichUK before we all pootled, or as the case was screamed it, over to Milton Keynes for a bit of back to basics racing.

Rich knew the area way better than I and gave me some cracking directions to get to a Little CHef / Esso (no girl visible!) rendezvous point. Having had an empty M40 I got there about 20 minutes early to find the car park loaded with Golf GTIs of all descriptions. Every driver was ot of his car and checking over the "fantatstic" visual mods done to their cohorts vehicles.

So there pulls up this S with me in it and all attention is transfixed to me and why am I just staying there in the car park. Finaly the penny drops as another GTI pulls up with a sticker saying something like...

It was their equivalent of s2ki!

About 2 mins before the beak and meow turned up they started out on their road trip all wheel spinning and revving their engines......it must be nice for them.
