Default Geometry settings Q?

Has anybody any ideas on price and location of Honda's geometry system on the S2000. Needs doing soon. Also how they go about it, and is it something other garages can carry out, like tracking etc.
Regards

Why would a tyre supplier be able to help,is it because of their gear? Also why is yours going to the dealers, maybe we should do a group buy-joke. Please Pm me with details of how you got on. Could you ask them if they know of experienced Honda garages in South London.
Thanks Noony.

I would get the settings and go to an independant that has laser equipment. Owned many cars in my time and would definatly do this. I have used powerstation in Cheltenham...

jcp,

I'm using the dealer because its in for a service anyway, also this dealer comes highly recommended and I hope to be impressed by them.(last work they did for me on the CRX was excellent)

I haven't located a suitable tyre specialist up here yet, but I do intend to.

I'll let you know how it goes on Wednesday.

Noony.

Thanks Tif,

One needs all the reassurance possible for the trama that is the 9000 mile service(out of my sight and all that)

Really hope they don't wash it for me.

How long did your alignment take/charge you for.

I believe that it gets quicker the more that they have done and hence cheaper.

Also, may get the revised settings done but still concerned that they were set up for the 00-01 model and not the different suspension of the 02.

Suppose I will give the new settings a try in if the service people there agree.
They seem very good, thanks for the pointers as the other Savoy group garage was cr@p.

Dave.

Present them with a clean car, get them to inspect it with you and then tell 'em you don't want it washed. Job done

The geometry settings affect tyre wear, which is why most decent tyre fitters have the kit to make the necessary adjustments.
