Goodbye S2000 MP....
We've had some good times but its time for you to move onto a new home...

Here's your replacement:
Yep a new licence plate, whatever did you think I meant

MU for Man United BTW
Ah, very, very cool Tif. I like it lots!!!
I was just having a quick look at the boards, but was not intending to post - I am totally knackered after a superb weekend at Silverstone - I am still reeling from watching (on 3 separate occasions
) Barichello and Montoya inches from each other at ~190mph
. Absolutely superb. (As was Rubens scything through the pack to 2nd in just 19 laps).
Last night I went for my usual post track action mosey around the circuit......I noticed a gate open on the start finish line, and no one attending it....well...in I popped......and spent the next hour in the pits watching the cars being readied for the GP - this was good.........but they then proceeded the wheel every car out of the garages into a long line down the pit lane to be scrutineered. My God those things are awesome - the engineering! the complexity - you should see the steering wheel on the Ferrari
. I have many piccies and will post soon (the Ferrari mechanics chased me away when I poked my camera into the rear of the car
) - the Ferrari has a seperate sensor on every suspension arm - amazing!
Oooops, sorry Tif - I seem to have hi-jacked your thread. Apologies

No worries Ian. that has GOT to be the best race I've watched in a good long while! Anyone who can say there is no excitement or overtaking in F1 should watch a wet/dry/wet race
Fantastic, Msrs Monster and Rubenho were in stunning form and what a good run for the boys from Brackley - my lucky touch on their cars obviously made the difference
Wish I could have been in the pits with you though
Still - the Scuderia are sending a car to the Earl of March's bash so I may get lucky yet!
Nah, she isn't cosseted that much
they're some old VW Passat ones, the rubber tends to lift the paint from the floor if the car is parked in one spot too long otherwise.
