It's on live on Motors TV, but the image quality is cack, and the commentators are terrible. I'll wait for Murray's commentary at 3 o'clock.
I agree, think I will wait for the Beeb coverage tomorrow, Motors TV commentators are awful!

It was amazing to see "Our Nige" come back and do his stuff though, I'm a huge fan, and thought he might embarrass himself after all these years, but he did fewer laps than everyone else, came out for his first run, first timed lap thrashed everyone, and beat that with his second lap

He was 0.57 sec faster than Emmo, and the 6 drivers behind him were all within about one tenth - v impressive!

He may suffer in the fitness stakes over the race though, a lot of the other guys looking in much better shape than him.

And it was great to see cars that moved about so much, twitching and sliding - made the current F1 cars look very easy!

Shame Prost didn't make it to this race.

Remember how he used to have to be carried out of the car when he was supposedly fit?! He seems lightyears ahead of the others in terms of pace though, but I hope Fittipaldi and Patrese can stay close once the race gets going.

What was the story with Prost? Was he pissed off because Mansell got more time to practise in the car or something?

nigel has pretty good experience at the circuit in single seaters..

I don't mind the motors commentary.. at least they are not as crap as James Allen..

Somebody please record it and host it on a server?

Mansell comprehensively slaughtered Patrese when they were team-mates at Williams, so I can't see Patrese challenging him for speed, but he looks a lot fitter, doesn't really look much older than when he was last in F1!

I am actually enjoying watching some 'motor racing' again....only seen the last few laps but it's done enough for me to watch the beeb coverage later on

even the cars look better than current F1....lower, wider and some decent gobs of slick rubber on the back

the cars are running closer together than you see in F1

top stuff

I caught the second half on Motors, and was very enjoyable. Can't believe they've actually got motor racing on the BBC.

Bloody rugby. I hope all the people that complain that F1 should still be on the BBC are paying attention.
