Default GT spec (anyone got one?)

Just wondering if anyone has had the same info as I received yesterday....

"The stand is ordered after delivery of the car and will be here in about 2 weeks.
Also, there is no cover available for the hardtop yet and they suggest using a cotton sheet or similar. "

Maybe I am misreading the brochure, but I expected to receive a custom cover.

Cheers

Noony.

The dealer should have ordered the Stand separately. And the cover comes with the Stand.

Unless it is an import, in which case it is not included

Yup! Tis true. My GT came with Stand and the custom cover was in the box the stand came in. Dealer even let me borrow his shiny CRV to get the thing home. Ahhhhhhhh!

Yup what hazdjc said - altho if you search thru my threads, you will find the saga I had to go thru with the hardtop. It seems to me that these things are never straight forward with the dealerships. - wish the dealers were as good as their cars.

You should get a mesh woven silver hard top cover, with a nice red H on it with the stand. Its a big piece of kit by the way - im struggling to work out where I will put it all in the garage when the hard top comes off again.

Best of Luck

Yup, mine came already with the stand and cover, even took it home in the CTR before I picked the S up.

Put up a couple of brackets in my garage so the stand is out of the way when not in use , not even had it a week yet but must get that hardtop off to get the full experience, hopefully this weekend, though forecast is freezzzzzing..

When my GT was deliverd they said the stand and cover would be following the next day (from a different dealer). To their credit an exceptionally large box did indeed turn up the next day with the cover inside it.
