Default Would be GT owners

When I picked up my GT I did NOT receive the cover and stand. The dealers have been trying to locate it and they got back to me today and told me. When they order a GT the cover and stand does not come automatically, they have to order it separately which they have now done. I know they've told some porkies in the past but it might be worth checking with your supplier.

That figures. The salesman I spoke to told me that the GT did not come with a stand and cover. This guy was pretty switched on about some aspects of the S2000, but completely ignorant on others. Is it just the S2000, or does Honda have a huge communications problem with it's dealer network?

It's an unfortunate trait that many salesmen have... (a) they don't like to be thought of as lacking in knowledge, so they lie or make things up (b) they figure this doesn't matter because they always assume that you know less than they do.

I was looking at a 32" Sony WEGA TV in Curry's a couple of years ago and asked what phono connectors it had at the rear. He asked me how old my TV was. I said "I have several. What difference does that make?" He smiled with pity in his eyes and told me in a very patronizing way that, "Well it's just that it must be quite some time since you bought one, sir; modern TV's all have what are called SCART connectors." I bought the TV from a local specialist audio-video dealers.

Recently, a camera salesman told me, "Digital zoom gives you much higher quality than a zoom lens"

I wince sometimes when I listen to camera salesmen making it up as they go along ...trying to sell some unsuspecting soul a totally unsuitable camera.!

Processors can be awful too. I bought a quite expensive compact 35mmm camera a few years back and whilst I wouldn't normally recommend it, I took the first exposed film to a place in Walsall town centre, where for

My mother-in-law has a pricey Nikon SLR with a decent lens, but was getting lousy pictures every time, to the point that she no longer used it. THen on the off chance she ran a film off and took it to Boots (I think) instead of her usual 'little camera place'. The difference is amazing, the originals were off-colour and fuzzy, the new ones (and all since) are pin-sharp and full of accurate colour.

Amazing what just changing the developer can do! Thats without CTs knowledge.

If I ticked the totally satisfied box they'd know I was lying, I've just received my reply letter from Honda Customer Care confirming my previous dissatisfaction
But the cars great, 498 miles and counting and not one motorway mile. All done on little twisties.

I received my HT cover and stand today, and I can confirm it will NOT fit in the Honda's boot. It comes in a box 1000 x 1300 x 170mm, you could discard the packaging and strip it down to save a little space but not enough to get it in the Honda. I'm pleased with it, it's very light and well made and takes up very little extra room.
