Default GT3 and the S2000

The thing that always bothered me about GT3 was that you can't buy the UK model S2000 at all, you need to win it. And the Jap VGS Type V model that you can buy has a minging (IMO) New Formula Red and not the lovely Ascari Red I have.

So I went back and did the Amateur League Type R Championship, won the first 4 races and saved it. I could then go to the last race, cancel it at the start and still win the prize car!

The Prize car is either a Spoon S2000, Mugen S2000, Honda S2000 (UK), or an NSX Type R. If you don't win the car you want, you just load up your save you mad at the last race, and repeat the process of cancelling the race and see what car you win. After a few mins of retrying I got my first Mugen.

The Mugen has the proper bonnet with bulges in all the right places (oo-er), and seems to have sharper handling than the standard model. I've done it a few times now to try and win the Ascari red UK model, but to no avail. So far in my garage I have Mugens in the following colours: New Formula Red, Indy Yellow, Grand Prix White, Midnight Blue - only black, silver and monte carlo to get!

Anyway, when you win the UK model (which is what I set out to do originally) I only seem able to be awarded it in 3 colours. Some nasty metallic green, Phoenix Blue (never heard of it), and the ginger colour loads of NSX's on the road are.

Has anyone won a UK S2000 in anything other than those nasty colours?

Bugger me, the Spoon S2000 is quick. Get it in a nice colour and change the rims - it's a cracker. 280bhp and 10krpm, yes please!

Cool. Is it definitely the UK model with the longer reg plates on the front/back, and without the VGS badge?

Also what type of car did you drive to win it? I think car choice has something to do with the random engine.

I won the Phoenix Blue standard car - what a horrible colour!

PS If you win the first 4 races you can exit out of the final race at the starting grid and still win, saves you doing the last 5 laps.

No, it's the old one, been out 3 years or so now.
I haven't played for ages, but I'm sure I had a UK S2000 on it, can't remember how I got it.

On GT4 Prologue, I'm stuck one race before the race that wins you the S2000
