JUst before Christmas I was pulling onto my brothers drive trying to get as close to his car as possible so my ass wasn't sticking out on the road. Didn't see his tow bar and gave his car a nudge :-(

On first inspection thought I'd got away with it as couldn't see any damage at all, not even a mark. I've since washed the car and noticed the headlamp wasn't flush with the wing any more. Looks like I have pushed the bumper back slightly which must be pushing the wing out of alignment with the head lamp.

Anyone know what's likely to have happened? Is this likely to cost me a fortune? I found a thread that had a pdf of how to take the bumper off. It doesn't look too difficult so I'm considering doing this in the hope it might be something I could fix.

Not the start to the new year I wanted

Dave

There are loads of clips .. take the bumper off, and re-seat it.

It could have popped off a mount.

It's an easy job to do.

You might have bent the support bar onto which it slots.

Get one off a scrapper; it bolts on.

It's a two-hander to remove the bumper, since it's big n' wobbly and you don't want to scratch it..

Cool, cheers guys. Can't believe I did it, been so careful in the car since I got it.

What the hell does Bharat mean, I've seen it in threads in the past. Tried to find it via google, seems like it might be a proposal of marrage?? =>

You learn something new every day.

I've met Bharat anyway & I'm familiar with the name, but I didn't know the translation.
