Evening all

Had a brilliant day today with a few friends at TDi North in Warrington, organised rolling road day, about 10 cars went on the rollers, good fun indeed, 1 of which was mine

Now I am dubious of this result to be honest... there were 3 runs done, 2 of which made 254.1bhp and the lowest was 249.3bhp



Now after having a good old chinwag with the lads at TDI, they said the 249.3bhp was the most realistic and they've seen them RR there around the same figure... not dissing their work at all, they're a nice bunch of lads, the geometry being out can have an effect too by all accounts?

Also on the 2nd cam it's very jagged, what's that all about?!

I dunno, all new to me

Mods are AEM V2, Invidia N1 catback and Invidia 70mm decat pipe

What do you all reckon? happy figure or not?

seems high, i think ESEM said they read high at TDI TBH anything from 230+ is good

Seems very high.

The S2000 (imo) is actually around 180 bhp atw or 220 ish at the flywheel. They never ever make 240 on a good dyno.

There needs to be an industry ban on flywheel figures...!

I was of that opinion aswell...

May take it to another set of rollers and see whats occurring.

Try Dyno Dynamics next time maybe.

I wouldn't get hung up on the number though, it looks healthy which is the main thing you should be looking at. Best to find other comparable S2000s on that dyno to compare.

Did they explain why the power is so spiky at the top end? Suspect some dyno slip or the sample rate isn't too good.

Aye I'll give it a shot.

The jagged line was slip, down to my geometry apparently running a bit too much negative camber?

This is the best I got flywheel on my '56 plate so yes yours is high even over Hondas spec unless you've got some fancy bits fitted.

Hmmm I seen on the dyno screen it hit about 193hp atw... calculated figure off maybe?
