Default Handbreak... light staying on

Hi all,

my handbreak light seems to of developed its own personallity, presumably while being serviced... maybe it had some time to talk to some other s2000's who knows...

but for some reason, it now stays on.... all the time... except some times when i turn left it goes out.... and then other times when im just going along straight... it goes out!

the handbreak seems to work just fine... so i would think must just be a doggy wire, but im also starting to get a squeaking noise coming from the breaks on the left of the car!!

does the light coming on mean that i need to change my disks? has it got a sensor on it??

the car has only just been serviced... the report shows that the disks are 35% worn...

any ideas??!

thanks
Danny

It's because the fluid is low.
The reason it's low is because your pads/disks are low.

Don't top up the fluid, check your pads.
