Default Hardtop

Hi everyone,
Quick question, when a hardtop is fitted, is the soft top removed?
Or can you just remove the hardtop, press the button and raise the soft top?
Thanks in advance
Steve

The soft top is down in it's normal place. The hardtop includes a couple of stops to make sure the soft top doesn't move.

You need to undo 4 catches - 2 windscreen like the soft top, and 2 behind the doors. Then the hard top lifts off - but that's really a 2 man job.

the soft top stays in place (lowered that is) so you remove the hardtop (two man job) and raise the soft top

Thanks Brian,
I was always worried about the hardtop because i thought you had to remove the soft top mechanism.
I'm going to see a used s2000 with hardtop tonight
Cheers
