Default Hartop electrical problem

Put the Hardtop on my S this morning ( dont panic not for the winter yet just needed to get it out the house as were have the carpets cleaned today).
Now the Hardtop was retro fitted by myself, I bought the Hardtop and fitting kit from ebay last year. The only things missing from the kit was the power relay and the switch for the heated rear screen. I got these bits from my honda dealer a few weeks ago and popped them in the other day.
But this morning the heated screen no worky
Before i go hunting for a loose connection i need to know if there could be a problem with the ECU, as in it does not and wont understand about the hardtop screen?

The Cars a March 2001, all the extra loom bit has been added (behind the passager seat), the power relay is in the fuse area under the drivers side dash and the switch is plumed in in the centre console.

Can anyone help ?

I've never "function checked" my HT HRW but it does work when driving on damp cold days so I don't have a problem with it. The reason I say this is that, maybe, you are not testing in the right way? EG; does the engine have to be running maybe? May be worth removing and refitting the HRW loom's plug a couple of times also (in case the terminals have surace corrossion on them maybe and this will clear it)? Also, are the connections on the screen element itself ok (have these been damaged during storage maybe)?

Just guesses. If these don't work you are going to need a wiring plan and a meter, I suggest, if the fuses are all ok.

Have you ever had the HRW work (is the the first time fit for the HT)? If not, maybe it doesn't have a fuse? I'm not sure which fuse box this would be in, probably the drivers manual will detail it.
