Nice sunny day no sign of clouds so I decided to go for it and strip down the car to get the headlamp out and dry it out...
Hopefully these pics may come in useful to someone with this common fault.
Tools requred
Phillips screwdriver
flat head screwdriver
3/8 or 1/4 drive 10mm socket with ratchet and extention bars
Took only 30 minutes to get to this stage:

With headlamp removed I found it best to remove all caps, bulbs and then stand it up on its pointed corner: (water seem to run to that end much quicker)

Something I did not realise is the indicator is actually a complete lamp with its own lens underneath the outer lens thus trapping the water between the two lens and steaming up... If you apply pressure you will push out 90% of the moisture see pic:

Simply blow hot air into holes with mrs's hair dryer until bone-dry (took me 25 minutes)

I looked all over this lamp and it is perfectly sealed, looking at other posts people have upgraded to the 2004> lens cap which has been Successful. I couldnt be bothered with ordering these so I filled the vents with sealant

It now looks nice with my new 501WHP+ LED side lamp bulbs
(pic does them no justice)

I dried my headlamp out by removing the wheelarch cover, pulling out the lamp holder. I then put the end of the dyson tube through the wheelarch flap and over the hole in the back of the lamp. Then put the hairdryer on the other end of the pipe
. Unfortunately the lens has got condensation on the inside again as I couldn't get to the holes in the rubber lens cover to block them up. Looks like the bumper will have to come off (while the lights is out I think I'll re-seal the whole light anyway).

Would it have been worth chucking a small packet of silica gel in the headlight housing to stop it happening in the future?
Where can you buy it from? Any ideas?

Both headlamps on my S2000 were replaced early under warranty as they were bubbling on the inside reflector from exposure to magnifying effects of the sun through water on the outside of the headlamp.......
Never got condensation with the new ones (never noticed the old ones doing it mind).
