Headlight lens replacement

Default Headlight lens replacement

Went out to my car today to find the lens has a crack in it. Spoken to the main dealer and they said its

fraid not mate - and they are hard as hell to come by too!! Been after one myself for the past year due to water damage inside which has made the black paint inside bubble!!
I guess you could 'cook' it and open it up that way, but then there is a risk of it not sealing correctly...

I would love to refurb my light if i could..

Try a breaker, a list of them can be found in the FAQs. Check out the for sale section as a couple of members are breaking them too.

The yanks do have a technique for splitting them.
(Gas mark 4 in a preheated oven for 20 mins or something similiar )
But that would mean split two so you would have to buy another one anyway

The other risk you run from opening up the lenses is that fact you seem to get loads of condensation inside. I would look for a replacement on eBay. They do sometimes crop up

I do have replacement lenses for cheap if you decide to open your headlight.
If you follow the instructions carefully it can be done
worth a try since you would need to replace it anyway
