Default Headphone Jack in Headunit

Hi all,

Just a quick question. I am going to change the stereo in the S2000 and am keen to get an Alpine so I can keep the dash controls (either by the Modifry or the Alpine DCI apapter as discussed on this site.)

However, I have all my Music on my Creative ZEN Touch MP3 player. A lot of the new stereos have an iPOD Interface which I don

My Alpine recently installed (9853 I think) comes with an optional lead for 3.5mm jack in - you lead this out the rear of the unit and into the passenger footwell - I then plug it into my iPaq (dash mounted) on which I play MP3s. Lead is easy long enough, and works fine - not too dear I don't think from Car Audio Direct.

Doesn't have to be an Alpine for the sake of the dash controls. See the link in my sig for an interface that will work with a range of HUs ...
