Nice install shopman, I'm definitely going to get myself some of these!!

A few technique questions:

Did you remove the seats?
How easy is it to get the wire threaded through them?

Can't see this being an easy task with the seats left in!

Cheers

No, I did it with the seats in, coat hanger with the wire taped to it pushed carefully from top to bottom and then worked it behind the seam on the edge of the seat

Hi Chris, hope shopman doesn't mind but I'll jump in, I used a quality speaker cable so it was quite stiff and went pretty much were I wanted it, once the rear plastic surround at the back of the headrest is removed it's easy to feed the cable down, I directed the cable down towards the outside corner where the leather is attached by elastic using my hands down he back, or use a wire coat hanger straightened out, wrap tape around the end of the hanger to prevent snagging, attach the speaker cable to the end with more tape and pull it through.
I pulled the seat forward and tilted it forward to the max, this gave me plenty of room to work so no need to remove the seats imho.
I cut up one the missus's t-shirts and stretched it across the four locating plugs on the decorative surround before refitting the cover, looks not bad, I'll stick up some pics tomorrow. should have done it step by step at the time.
Post being typed at the same time as above. oops.

An old but good thread that I put on the back burner.

Im unable to locate the 2 sets of speakers that shopman initially recommended plus things have moved on since then.

Anybody recently done this as would like to locate a suitable flat faced 10cm speaker for the seats.

possibly looking at a set of sony xsf1036 as they are the closest thing I can find to the original suggestion
