Anybody know where there's any removal instructions for the OEM headunit ?? Looked on the search and can't find owt.

I had a look last night trying to remove the headunit and I got as far as taking off the side panels.

Any help appreciated !!

 

Used to be a good "How To" on Lucids website.

It is simple to do. The cover and surround pulls out and you need to remove 2 screws IIRC.

 

4 screws - two on a bracket either side of the head unit which you'll need to transfer to the new unit

Best instructions IMHO are on Stuart's thread - there used to be a link in the tech FAQ.

 

That is just the ISO adapter, you won't need that if you want to get the dash adapter too.

You will need the following 2 items.

I have those, and they work perfectly.

As others have already mentioned, there are a few good HU installation guides around the forum, mainly on the electronic's section.
