I did some basic fabbing up on my old Civic when it was in bits. Also went through gusseting up my mates Nova Rally car.
Nothing like your operation though - we had to scavenge steel from various places - road signs, car panels, gas canisters!
ATEOTD, J's/ASM/Spoon/Mugen all have to go racing and that isn't cheap

Good job though

The correct term is 'Lug'.

Maybe the names have changed in the last 50 years?

The wishbone mounts are also known on track based S2000's with slicks to have ripped clean off

bit more we did today. made a start on mounting the front airjacks which we will have some pics of soon, as well as the rear airjack mounts.
but for now a bit of lightening/strengthening of the inner wing rail.
we will also put a few of these gussetted holes in the front section of the sill where u can see hel have marked more holes.
we opened up the panel so we could get the tooling in to press the holes, then fabricated a new closing panel. this lot really is very stiff and very strong now.

Any chance of some pictures of the holes being made, very curious to see the process.
Do you have any measure of structural rigidity before and after or is it all down to experience and feel?
