Hello
Hi, I’m new to here this eve. Have been wanting an S2K for ages so thought I would join the page. I enjoy motorsport and particularly enjoy driving rear wheel drive two seaters. I had an MR2 and some other not so cool cars over the years. I daily drive a 1 series sport, which is OK for work but not really too exciting. I live Colchester way and used to see a Berlina black quite often on my daily commute going in the opposite direction. Not sure it’s really ok to publicly say, but the guy is pretty hot and one day I’ll crash my car for turning my head at him
yawn. Sorry the page attracts scammers, although I am not one. I am genuinely stating that I would like an S2K etc. I'm not interested in anyone's money, cars or getting people to bank transfer me anything for nothing thanks. I am just an easy going person that likes S2K's. Sorry you feel like that.

Plenty of s2000's for sale, none on here ATM.
Use the FAQs for all you need to know - but we will all help with regards to issues/ problems and ownership Q's.
Hi Martin, thanks :-)
I’m hoping I can learn more about them via the forum. I know a bit already re; F20C V-tec under the bonnet and they are high rev engines. Oil changes probably every 6k miles (depending on drive use I guess)? I will have a good read and educate myself anyhow.
My old neighbour used to have one. I loved it, she hated it! Wish I had got hers when she sold it.
Thanks for the welcome

No worries... If you need any advice pre-buying one, don't be afraid to ask. Service history is everything, 100k miles is nothing for these if cared for but abused ones can burn you if an owner is masking a rebuilt engine (they generally don't last long when rebuilt due to the tolerances required at high rpm). Most of us have had one for 20 years or more , I've had 3 over 20 years.
What any of us will say is - that it's no regular RWD; it's a car that has to be learnt to drive, as earlier ones can be quite edgy on the limit and there's no nannies interfering except on 06 onwards. These later editions from 04 onwards are tamed, softer suspension and I suppose some say (myself included) it's the better car all round.
I have an 06 which I can batter the hell out of it in the corners with predictable handling, but on the earlier ones I owned it wasn't always possible to live on the edge. It's a rewarding car to drive that actually feels faster to drive than you actually are traveling. You're unlikely to lose money on one.. good luck
