Welcome along to the madness, another suspect person on here won’t matter, there’s plenty of us on here letting on to be normal! The advice on here is from well seasoned campaigners, who’ve usually had a few S2000s. Myself included.

Match your budget to what you’re wanting in a car. The posse in here will steer you if you have queries. FYI every 2 years of the cars production had changes, some major, some minor. In the later cars the alloys help differentiate these changes. The later cars were more rounded. Don’t know your driving prowess to make any further recommendations.

Take your time looking, good cars are worth the wait.

Thanks Sam & Tony. Yes, I am not going to probably go for the lowest end one I find and interesting about the modifications on them over time. I did see one FS near to me but it had a head gasket issue and a rebuild, which did put me off and I stopped reading. I’d like to think I’m not too suspect ha ha (I’m different, but not in a bad way)! Hopefully the guy I sometimes spot of a morning on the work drive would be flattered and not freaked out if he knew that I had noticed him. That’s probably the only suspect thing about me. Only human LOL
