Default hello new owner

Hello,

found this site months ago but forgot about it. i have just sold my lupo gti and have picked up a honda s2000 w reg (2000). with 19000 miles on it. grey red leather in perfect nick. also sporting front and rear honda spoilers! looks and drives superb.

got a few questions

wanted to get rid of the honda stereo (tape with 6 cd player in the boot) and put a nice face off stereo in and connect my ipod. anyway what stereos have people put in their cars as i dont want to lose the controls on the dash?

i had an induction kit on my lupo gti. it sounded fantastic. wanted to know what is the best induction kit to go for for around

Welcome Ian can't help with most of questions myself but others will be along shortly, maybe tomorrow

There's no option for an outside temperature gauge. I presume you're thinking of ice on the road?

At the top is the Important information and useful links It's well worth reading.

Also on the top right hand corner is the advanced search where you can search in just the UK Forum for uk specific info, all the best.

Hello and welcome to the board

If you do a search for audio stuff you will find loads - i recall reading that someone has installed their iPod into their S.

As for the temp gauge and clock there isn't one and it wasn't an option either. You get a clock on 02 models onwards in the stereo's head unit display. Again if uyou do a search you will find the ingenious ways people have installed a clock and temp gauge. Some use a simple install kit from Halfords and hard wire it into the car.

You will enjoy this car I am sure I have only had mine 6 weeks and love it. Some people will wave - (the nice ones) and there are thrads on here about S2000 owners sighting other S's. You might find yourself on there.

Check out the FAQ technical threads - they are jammed packed with info - stuff you never thought you would want to know about!!!!

Anyway welcome

and happy

cheers lads.

also got two little dents which i picked up in a car park this week some time from some bastard opening their door onto my car. really pissed about it. thats london for you. its about four inches in front of the fuel cap. must be avery common place to get dents on the s2000 due to there shape. anyway my question is where can i get them taken out and how much?

want to get it fixed this weekend. not bad dents had to clean the car to see them.
