Hi Putney

If you're looking for more noise from the beast, as CTR says, search for PRM. I installed one a month ago and the sound is awesome.

Hello

I have an iPod and have been looking into changing the stock stereo for one with an aux line in and still being able to use the dashboard controls and also the stock CD player and I cant find one!

You can easily get a new head that will work with the CD changer and dashboard controls but they dont have a line in, so I'm using a crappy cassette adapter.

You could buy an iTrip, a little FM transmitter that plugs into your iPod, I have one on order. They have been banned in the UK though so when I get it I cant use it

i have solved the ipod problem. i know where you can buy i trips however they are for the old ipod. i am buying a new ipod. my old ipod 5 gig broke! out of warranty by a week. so was a good excuse to get a new 15 gig one!
apparantly this will work:

ipod 3.5 mm earphone jack to a stereo phono lead (left and right) to the in put on the alpine head unit. model CDA-9812RB has three inputs, and cd changer control so that should work.

to keep the controls on the dash you need stalk adaptor: KCE-865B (

Putney

I think you are the new "youngest owner" on the board - congrats on the purchase. All the things you have mentioned so far about the car are things that many owners have changed. Best to come along to a meet and see what other owners have done and then you can decide in what order to change things.

There is usually a Herts pub meet at the start of each month (first Thursday) and the turnout is always very good so plenty of example S2000s to get ideas from. (Don't know if people will be up for one in September though as it's so soon after SM4.)

Have fun
