my first child is on the way and so i'm going to have to sell the honda. no sympathy please, it's too painful.....

i don't really have much of a clue of how much it's worth, since i've never considered selling it before. could someone with a decent knowledge of second-hand prices advise me how much i should ask for it?

- 3.5 years old
- 18,000 miles
- one owner from new (me)
- metallic silver/black
- 6cd multichanger
- everything else absolutely bog-standard
- full honda service history; mot and tax until october
- brand new wheels (standard honda, the old ones were replaced under guarantee) and tyres.
- generally in super condition in-and-out

any ideas?

thanks,

stephen

I would say 17k to 18k - autotrader has a few in this price range, similar mileage. Probably closer to 17k than 18k.

Have you checked out Parkers guide?

http://www.parkers.co.uk/pricing/used_car/index2.asp

Would have done it for you but not sure exactly what plate yours is!

Have a look at Glass's Guide Prices as well, I use this link :

http://www.lovekyn.co.uk/gl-values?gl_vehi...9MSFBLK0LGJ00B2

The prices are lower than Parkers but the trade take more notice of Glass's.

Are they just trade-in values? They look very low.
