Hello everyone,

Just got to UK, and just receive my car yesterday. I'am in the US military and just been assign here for x a month of years. Need help on conversions if any body can help me, i been through shops on base and they said they could do the conversions. My problem is the rear fog lights that they want to installed on my car which is about 2.5 in by 3 in. This is just not eye catching to me, i do not mind having led day time running lights but the rear fogs lights just kills me. Is there anybody here that can help me or is selling rear fogs light that is suitable for my car. I need it for MOT and also i would need tires. Or can you suggest a place or alternatives in which i can make this work.

to make it look good your going to have to either fit a UK spec bumper that has the fog light fitted in the lower section or cut a hole in the panel and fit one yourself
both will involve paint although the later is just a touch up to the black, do a search im sure someone has fitted a uk type fog lamp to a JDM rear bumper
tyres if its not drivable some thing like Event tyres come to you with mobile fitting, descent price as well

Have a word with USNFRS2K he's based at Lakenheath and went through this when his car was imported.

I'm from Mildenhall originally, grew up in the days when they used to have a couple of SR71s flying out of there.

have a read through the following thread that includes part numbers for the job and the contacts for a honda dealer. I suspect nearest towns with dealerships to Mildenhall will be Thetford Cambridge, Bury st Edmunds and Ipswitch.

Hey Drezky, I'm Matt and US NFR S2k is Dominic. We're both in the area. What I did was make the center brake light the fog light. It's wired up to a switch. Other than that there is nothing else I can think of that needs converting or modifying to pass the MOT. The center brake light turned to fog light can be converted back to a normal brake light when I'm done. It's pretty "unevasive". Look forward to meeting you soon!.

^ thanks everyone with all the help, mattxx ^ and i got hold on dom in facebook, so i might rolled with you guys in london, sounds good to me, i dunno about the 2 to 5 lines round about though, still new to the area, the farthest i've gone in my car is new market, but the roads here are scary but fun...
