Default T1R toe arms

Do these need to be greased? Mine have been on for a few days now, before I fitted them I put in new bearings/rose joints. I didn't grease them up at the time and now i'm getting some awfull creaking from the rear suspension over bumps...

It's either the arms or the BC coilovers.

Have I made a booboo by not greasing them?

Thanks,
Mark

Shouldn't be the arms that are creaking but it is a good idea to grease them. Better yet to get some boots for the rose joints to help keep the grease in but more importantly the water and grit out

Think it could be the BC's Rob? They've been fine untill today (hopefully nothing to do with the geo set up...)

Worth spraying some silicon grease on the coilovers springs?

It's actually quite embarrassing to drive at the moment

Check the geo bolts are tight I'd say it's to do with that if it's just happened!

Depends entirely on what bearings you fitted.
Quality Aurora items with PTFE shields probably wont need lube.

Applying denso tape will protect them.

I had a creak, and sorted it by greasing the bolts a bit more.

Got round to having a good look underneath and the locking nuts on the T1R's were loose!! Nipped them up and coated the joints in bearing grease and all the noise has gone

Will take it back to the geo place and get them to check the settings and mention that one of the nuts were loose on the arms (I don't know if they missed it or if it's just come loose on it's own accord)

Will look into getting some boots/denso tape for them

Thanks,
Mark
