I have been trawling around trying to find my bruv-in-law a car. It is for him and a set of golf clubs, also a set of rear seats would be good. They already have an lurvley Audi estate for the kids buggies and the like so I have been suggesting cars but none have hit the mark. So can you guys offer me any other thoughts.

A used VW Golf TDI 150 bhp would be a sensible choice. How about a clio 172, Seat Cupra or the Cupra R.

IMO the CTR is the best choice.

 

If he doesn't really like fast cars(ref CTR comment) then I doubt he would appreciatea 172/182 or Cupra R. The Cupra or Golf TDI PD150 would be better choices. Buy nearly new and get a much better car would be my recommendation.

 

If he really doesnt like cars, what about a TT

A guy in the office just bought a T plate TT coupe, 5000 miles... ....for
