I probably wouldnt, im sure 90% of people wouldnt here.

If your on a budget and it has been serviced all its life, and you know there nothing mechnically wrong with it (bushes). Then it would be okay, see below.

There is evidence S2000 can run all well past 100k. AE had 124k out of his IIRC, and the yanks have had well into the 100's, one chap had 160k.

I have had mine nearly 2 year, didnt join up to the club till later on but mine is now at 103k and its sweet as a nut. But ive put a hell of alot of milleage on mine, with my job and just wanting to drive it!!

These cars really need to be looked after. But the older it get the more stuff wears out and in the long run you may spend lots of money to recifiy them.

Yes, that mileage would put me off that car. I know people don't want to hear that and there are exceptions to what i'm about to sy, but i would rather have a lower mileage older model than a high mileage younger car.

The s2000 engine is too highly tuned to do the very high mileages that other honda engines are known to do in my opinion.

No chance. With the propensity of these engines to go pop with neglect it's a case of when not if. Do you want to buy a car that may need

Bit too much for me that mileage ! I would - rightly or wrongly - be worrying about the engine going bang at some stage during ownership .....

If you're not going to use it much, and you really want one, and it was cheap...

But I can't see why you'd buy a high mileage 03 when for the same money you'd get a much lower mileage 00.
