Default HKS install

Does anyone know whether the pins that hold the back end of the cat to the flange on the exhaust are seperate entities? I have sheared one of the bolts. Looking at the bolt heads they seem to be like a rectangular pan head with no interface for a tool. The pins look integral to the cat from my manual. Does anyone know? I soaked the f***er in plus gas first, but looking at the bolt it is half dirty across the x-sec area ie it was cracked or something. I have some conventional bolts with the same thread. Any ideas?!

The bolt can be knocked out with a hammer and I can't see any reason why it cant be replaced with a standard bolt.

Knock all three out and replace with M10 x 50mm with Copper exhaust nuts (M10)

What a game that was! Anyone who can install that on their own with just axle stands is doing well. Needed my dad to give me a hand! As for the pin, they are splined and im guessing the flange does not have the splines hence its part interference fit. There was no way on earth the sheared pin was going to be knocked out - had to drill the bugger out! Oh well done now, well almost

yeah that was me! thanks mate, yeah i was never struck on the red from photos etc and i was intending to go for black when i first set out to purchase. when i saw the red in the flesh i knew it was the one! Noticed ur top was down my old man was with me and he doesnt really understand the top always down thing! As for the exhaust, this HKS is awesome, not too intrusive but open the thing up and the mid tones are absolutely unbelievable. Do you know a good place to get wheels refurbed and powder coated round here? I was thinking lap-tab birmingham?!
