lower temp thermostats are rubbish. I fitted one and found my temperatures were out of the engines optimum temperature range.

Don't waste your money and send it back. Unless your 'on it' all the time the BOV will be dumping the pressure to atmosphere anyway, meaning it's just like NA.

The OEM system is fine. I'm at 16 psi for reference.

The HKS kit should allow the F20 to Rev to 9KRPM maybe even a little more, It would be very disappointing if not,

The whole idea of the S to me includes the huge rev range,

It also sounds it's best at 9KRPM,

What was the garage that installed one of these kits?

I would love to have a word with the mapper to find out what he thought

People usually lower the max RPM to reduce load on the engine when using higher boost levels.

I don't, 9200 for me. But like others have said you usually end up changing gear before that anyway. I just like to have the option. On some tracks you just need them few extra RPMs.

Is there a PDF version of the installation instruction for the kit? Just want to have a gander through the process.

Also; evasive have done a review of the kit with some dyno graph shenanigans:

Hmm... No pulley alternative is available as part of the fuel upgrade kit... Maybe we need to purchase separately...

Dyno graphs only up to just over 7000rpm.... I wonder what that is all about?

Looks like evasive used 700cc injectors on standard fuel pump...

There is a pdf version yes... But i don't seem to be able to post... Pm me an email address I'll forward it to you.

Also of anyone else is interested in can forward via email, just pm me your email address and a quick message.

Ive sent HKS a link to this thread so if they're interested enough they can check out what customers are saying and asking for etc etc.

I guess that's where they achieved peak power (though Honda say it's at 8,300rpm)

The UK Rolling road day would indicate this as well: https://www.s2ki.com/s2000/topic/100...t__p__22471597

The TTS one would not appear to be without issues.

I'd doubt HKS will be a poorer version given their reputation. I'm not a fan of their products, but this really does appeal.

What part of it is poor?

I'm running novi 1000 so I'm old technology here and I'm running mine at max psi and won't more power so why go hks when they use smaller unit (bigger is always better) also unit placement is in my opinion in a bad place right near the hottest thing in the bay.Tts seems to produce consistent good power and is now tried and tested, hks is unknown at present why take the chance for same money ?

I think you've missed the first post? And possibly all the previous.

The HKS SC kit a daily driver kit it's not a "i want more more more kit"... It's a 400bhp max kit.

Have you seen the development video series?

Bigger is not always better.

The position of the charger is covered in the previous posts. Hanging a massive heavy charger in front of the front struts isn't ideal either....

HKS as a brand are well thought of in terms of FI.
