Default Honda CD changer with Pioneer head unit

I've just ordered a Pioneer Head Unit, but I was wondering if I could still use my Honda CD changer, to save unwiring it all.

My initial thought is that Honda probably have their own interface, so it's impossible. But go on, surprise me...!

Check the lead at the changer end there should be a breakaway link, on some honda's that link was starndard to the company who made the changer, just means running the new cable to the head unit - you may be lucky

I've bought a MP3 CD head unit (had one in my old car - was brilliant) but just thought it'd be nice to keep the changer too, if poss.

but if you've got a single disk up front you're still covered when you pick up that new cd from hmv, so you arn't really losing any funcionality unless you buy 6 cds at a time and want to listen to them all on the way home.

Ok ok, it's just an excuse to not have to deroute the cable from the boot!
