Problem is, teh specific-profile Bridgestone tyres really hate cold, damp runways & the buggers keep sliding off.

Probably have something in the cockpit going "bing, bing, bing" to tell you that your seatbelts are undone & another to tell you that the handbrake is on!!!!!
Never mind under carrage, flaps, stall-warner, Vne etc etc etc!!!

It was in the Engineer mag. 18 months ago.

Honestly a right cracking read and it every fortnight has a car article that the motoring mags pick up at least a month or two later (Hybrid Technology, Fuel cell, gearbox configurations, engine Technology etc,etc
