Hello Folks,

Has anyone else had to change their hood ? I have found some tiny stress hairline splits on my hood, which may let some water through. The car is comming up to 5 years old but is in VGC other than a dodgy intake temp sensor (soon to be cx!!).

Can you tell me where these splits are as mine is an 00 I know that some US owners have had a few issues with holes appearing

Rob,

From the top rear corner of the door, about two & half inches from the corner straight back (about mid way between door window top rear corner and seam towards rear) both sides !!

The Honda warranty is out (the car is a 2000 model ) however I did get a 12 month warranty with the car when I bought it !! but it won't cover the soft top.

Had the same argument with HUK "show me where it says you dont cover hoods in the warrenty"
