Default How do you tell if you have a hardtop fitting kit installed?

Hi all,

So as its summer I thought I would get a hardtop, I'm ginger and thus hate the sun , just kidding.

Real reason, I think the car has a kit fitted already.

I have a plug which says hardtop on it and bushy brackets. What other signs are there?

Cheers,

Jamie

Look down the sides where the bushes are and there should be a hole about the size of a 10p coin on each side.
Then you have the brackets needed

Yeah as Aston says, take a look through the bushes and there should be a small hole on either side, to slot the HT in to.
Just because you have the hardtop p!ug, doesn't mean that the holes are still there - I took the fitting kit out of mine when I sold the HT, but left the plug, as the trimwrk on my car was in better condition than the buyer's.
