The total for the service including oil and filter change was

Brake fitting aside, and using Brakes Intl seems sensible enough, I'd use Crown in Bushey for your other servicing. Ask them to have Jorge do all the work, he comes highly recommended by many on here. If you're a member of UKS2Ki, you get a 15% discount on most things, which really adds up.

does anyone know of anywhere I can take the car in the North London / North West London / Watford, (live in Rickmansworth), area that I can take the S2k - where I won't get my trousers taken down, in order to do the front brakes??
Eyglesheim Motors offers cheap rates and specialises in S2000s, but the staff are a bit cack handed with torque wrenches.

Crown Bushey

Buy your brake discs yourself from Brakes International

join http://www.s2kuk.com S2KUK and get discount on them (and at Crown)

Get Jorge to work on your car.

Would be my advice for anyone living in Ricky

Brakeparts.co.uk parts price for rear pads & discs works out to 102.92 (inc. VAT) (ex. next day delivery I think) for both sides. Probably one hours labour when you have a lift & pneumatic tools.

Feeling fleeced ?
