I got a problem
Nightmare in the snow! Followed to work last month by a guy in a rwd BMW - he commented at work "Youre car's shit in the snow - I could see the back end going all over the place" - I was going half the speed of everyone else, driving cautiously, tiny inputs to accelerator.
The S lost traction on a roundabout at half the speed every other car was going round it at....
Horrible feeling knowing you're not in control, however good you think you are....

I have Uniroyal Rainmaster tyres on my S2000 at the moment, Ive been driving it in all the snow and ice, and have to say, its much much more predictable than my volvo 740 beater in the snow. I even took the S2000 in preference to anything else. I find mine has been fine in the snow, but then again, ive been driving it as one would in the snow! - slowly!

Most folks in this country have no idea how to drive in snow anymore (everyone panics hense the supermarket, being packed the moment we might have a few mm), thats why folks start doing weird things, it's not normally yourself you have to worry about. It's the idiots around you.
Keep gear changes, acceleration smooth, let it drag itself along in 3rd gear if snow is really bad and load up the boot with a shovel and couple of heavy bags of sand / coal / bricks whatever to get traction (I found this to be essential as I tried with boot empty and no grip at all). I've driven daily in the recent snowy conditions and yes you can't drive as fast as everyone else but you'll get from A-B.
