Also been having a lot of problems recently (not just with here) - apparently it's part of our network firewall's defences following recent virus attacks (something about retricting port access - any techies explain?)

Yep - I get logged off from time-to-time and it asks me to re-authenticate (usually in the middle of replying to a thread when I've typed loads of text already )

Usually only happens once a week though.

Sounds like they're talking cobblers. When you log in to s2ki, you get given the s2ki cookie which contains various parameters like bbuserid and bbpassword. These are used to log you in automatically on your next visit. The cookie will get transferred from s2ki to your PC on the same port as the web page itself - ie 80. So if you can see the web page, you can get the cookie.

Maybe it's a crack down on Muppets, of which you have to be one of the worst offenders.....well barring AE!
