Default Idiot scratched my car

So, a few days ago I noticed that someone had very kindly put a 1 metre scratch down the side of my car.

Did some investigating and checked cctv at work, and saw a people carrier reverse into the parking next to me and drive off.

Thankfully most of it polished out, but I'm left with this :

Now, the building managers have found out who it is, and asked him to get in touch with me, but alas, he hasn't.

Anyways, saw his car today and took a happy snap

His piece of rubbish has a little bit of awesomeness on it now.... my paint !

what would you do in this situation ?

Confront them and ask why they drove off, and let them know there is video footage. Mention police and other such stuff

Clearly they are scum though.

If no luck there then there are other options!

Confront them first. Report them to the police if that doesn't help.

What a bummer, diffinately mention police!! it happened to my mate a couple of weeks ago. he contacted his insurance straight away and they said if she denies it contact the police because he would need a crime reference number. But there was one witness but we said there was a couple more aswell. Atleast you have cctv footage and pics of the colour on their car to prove it.

good luck mate.

At work? report them to HR as well, if they don't put their hands up, police, and insist on having their insurance details, saying you have other evidance it was them. Any cwunt that can walk away after being confrunted deserves all their windows needing some attention.

Front them out, ideally in front of other work colleagues, embarrass the ****er.

Put an ad in local paper.... Ps3, boxed as new, 5 games, unwanted competition prize - £50. His phone will ring for weeks

Good luck getting the car sorted... Seems this kind of thing is becoming increasingly popular....

Most people dont have tyre insurance.

Strong short blades slip easily between sidewall beads.
