idle learn procedure
Chaps,
After reseting the ECU do you have to perform the Idle learn procedure?, doesnt the car eventually learn idle?
If it doesnt how long do you hold it at 3000rpm's for?
Cheers

After I changed the battery, I didn't do anything special to get it to re-learn idle. I probably shouldn't have driven it straight away though, it did stall when I first came to a stop. Probably best get it started, just use enough throttle if needed to prevent it stalling when it first tries to idle, then just leave it for 5 mins or so.

Idle learn requires that you start the car and let it idle until the radiator fan has switched on and off twice, then switch the engine off. That's it.
