I'm Leaving the Fold Too
Looks great fella.Cant beat a good low mileage sportpack
. Main areas for rust to keep an on are around the screen, A panels and the door bottoms. Exhaust wise, if you want to keep it pretty standard looking and not too loud, go for the small bore play mini s/s version standard exit ( see last pic ).

John, have done, sorry for not responding but I have been busy, which I guess is good, anyway a few days for catchup. Gives us a shout you are more than welcome over any time. We can catch up and chew the fat
Looks a fine example... I've had a few Mini's the last being a 1968 Cooper S in Old English white with a black roof...
The Sports Pack looks great but blunts the performance a little...
On the late one's keep a close eye on the back end (boot floor etc.) they were not known for the care taken over rust proofing them.

Rew - Lovely looking Mini there (best interior too) , Play Mini was recommended too by GC Minis http://www.gcminis.co.uk/ however despite a stock of 120 Minis only 4 were decent enough to buy and those were between 8 to 9k, far more than I paid for mine. Good place to research, colours and trim etc.
Any sound clips of a Play Mini exhaust ? Don't want anything Chav, and that looks really good, is ground clearance improved ? Any benefits in doing complete system i.e manifold too ?
Corgi - Agree Sport Pack does reduce top speed to 86mph apparently they're aero dynamically unsound
but looks and cornering improved. Only an A to B country lane car for me so not fussed by top end.
Lee - Will do.
