import navigation?

Default import navigation?

hi there, i pick up my import s2000 next thursday and have a built in screen with navigation. problem is the guy has disconnected it cos its japenese. is there anyway i can get changed to uk navigation? i have seen the uk cd's on ebay but i dont know if my cars nav is in english. has anyone come across this problem? please help

If you cant get it to work, couldn't you just get something like this http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?Vie...5771037640&rd=1 and use that instead?

I've never heard of anyone getting it to work in the UK.

BTW - change your profile info - hit MyS2K up the top, then Edit profile on the left - your country is wrong

i could get one of them gps boxes and just hook it up. i was just asking cos in theory the car has got gps. just needs to be updated. i just dont wanna drive around with a dead lcd screen. gps is a good gadget to have.

AFAIK it is only useful now as an LCD screen.

Get some other device and hook the output up to your existing screen ??

Going to be tricky, as a screen without an input interface isn't much use.

Are there hard buttons on the JDM satnav, or is it a touch sensitive screen?

im not too sure. its got some form of cd changer in the back. it has got outputs for ps, dvd player etc. just have to make the best of the lcd. thanks anyway!

Can you post some pics of the screen, fitment in dash and inputs once you get it mate? I fancy getting some proper sat nav in my car. Does anyone know if I can just replace the section of dash with the hole in as a Jap P/N? Or must I cut my UK one?
