Importing from Europe - changing Headlights?
Hi
I bought my S2000 in Germany whilst living there and have now relocated back to Blighty and brought my car back with me - cant let it go! The time is coming where i should "import" it and get UK registered etc. Part of that processis to get an MOT and part of that will be to check the headlights are pointing correctly.
As its a left hooker, i reckon the lights will need to be changed to point the other way. I heard some cars have a simple lever on the back of the xenons to do this, whereas others need whole new headlights putting in.
Can anyone tell me what I need to do to the headlights to make them UK compliant and pass MOT?
many thanks in advance

The pattern is in the lights themselves. There are quite a few people in the US (LHD) who run JDM (RHD) headlights, for looks, but hit the same problem. You could possibly adjust the lights enough to pass MOT, but the actual step pattern would go the wrong way.
