Default Inexpensive security for your S2000

I have managed to get a great deal for my insurance on the Porsche but they will only cover me if I have a tracker system fitted.

I called and asked whether it needed to be a thatcham approved, they replied no, just a tracking device will suffice.

After shopping around I found that they all seemed to be

I was reading about some phone software the other day that would enable you to do the same but probably wouldn't make your insurance any cheaper unfortunately.

I am with Sainburys insurance, no tracker required an works out a cheeper than the S2000

Just dont understand how that works nearly 3 times the value of car (based off my 5 year old S2000) yet cheeper to insure

when i was choosing between an S2000 and lots of other contenders, the S2000 was the most expensive by far to insure, this was against a boxster S, 350Z, 3.0 Z4, RX8 etc.
