Default Injectors

My S has spent Xmas at Honda whilst they worked out what the misfire was. They're pretty sure it's dirt got in the injectors (all four of them). Four injectors =

get the parts from hardtopguy in the US and get a reputable local tuner to fit them!

It's not like it willl need tuning or you need to worry about warranty.

So that's a yes to new injectors?

Do the US have JDM S2Ks? Because the dealer implied they were different, or at least different to the newer modes.

Sounds like a lot of hassle getting them from the US, and finding somewhere else to fit them and transporting the car around etc.

Do injectors really get crap in them? Im not so sure. The fuel filter is pretty fine and it certainly wont let any bits go through it to clog an injector up IMO.

even if the injectors were knackered, bollocks to paying a grand for 4 more fitted!

i'd try some 2nd hand ones first or even upgrade to some spoon ones instead

Could get them checked an cleaned on an ultrasonic cleaner. ANSU i think they are called. injectors don't wear out, well not on petrols anyway. (We don't have VW PD engines)
