Could have gone down the CAI route as the Spoon duct was 300 notes + but SC Honda are doing all my warranty stuff so wanted to keep it with a Honda approved tuning company. In hindsight, I have no regrets over getting the spoon.

Well I'm not completely convinced by that. There is a lot of suction which the engine generates, even when you drive through a puddle about 3 inches deep the splash you get is like a sheet of water. It can potentially run along the undertray where the airfilter sits.

My Civic's CAI is in pretty much the same place, and I've had no problems with the recent torrential stuff (S2K is tucked up in the garage).
