I've never yet heard anyone say anything good about Tesco (if they've had to claim).

Can anyone who's had to claim say anything good about them?

Very good point, how about Direct Line I have heard they can be not so good in the claiming bit! I am considering going back to NFU as they may not be the lowest on price but are good when shit happens

I'm currently with Direct Line, I've not had to claim from them but they managed to change my car details and cancel breakdown cover on my previous car when requested with reasonable efficiency.

I've only ever claimed off Royal Sun Alliance (now More Than) about 5 years ago for a bump (when I didn't know any better than to keep my eyes on the road ) They were very good and there were no problems.

When my car was being repaired the garage gave me a courtesy car without a tax disc and gave me some guff about it was lost in the back of a car, and that I'd be ok if stopped by the police. One call to the Royal Sun Alliance legal department and they got them to sort it out.
