Insurance Bargain .....
OK, Insurance due at the end of May so just had my renewal through from Direct Line ....
As you may / may not know I was banned for a month and fined last year for 106 in a 60
I already have 3 points (SP60) on my licence from 2003.

AFAIK they only quote drivers with one SP50 or less on their license. Did your ban also wipe your points?
If not I'd double check the policy when they send it to you. They state something about it in their terms.

The assumptions bit on the first page says that they will only quote if you have nomore than one conviction in the previous five years.....

All seems OK, thats why I phoned them - just to make sure !!
GSI - I had an 'instant' ban for 1 month which leaves my existing points on my licence.
If you 'tot' up, you normally receive a 6 month ban after which your points are removed.

Unless I'm missing something, you've had TWO speeding convictions in the last 5 years. One resulting in points, the other a ban. Good deal nontheless.
