AFAIK they only quote drivers with one SP50 or less on their license. Did your ban also wipe your points?

If not I'd double check the policy when they send it to you. They state something about it in their terms.

The assumptions bit on the first page says that they will only quote if you have nomore than one conviction in the previous five years.....

If that quote IS legit, there's something very screwy - that's

Here's a quote from the website ....

""There are assumptions we are making about the car and its usage:

Neither you the policyholder, or any additional drivers have been banned from
driving in the last 5 years for anything other than a single speeding offence.""

All seems OK, thats why I phoned them - just to make sure !!

GSI - I had an 'instant' ban for 1 month which leaves my existing points on my licence.
If you 'tot' up, you normally receive a 6 month ban after which your points are removed.

Unless I'm missing something, you've had TWO speeding convictions in the last 5 years. One resulting in points, the other a ban. Good deal nontheless.
